As many of you know, WISDOM stands for Wound Imaging Software and Digital platfOrM. Its mission? To revolutionise the way we detect and prioritise non-healing surgical wounds.

Why WISDOM?

Clinicians reviewing thousands of photos of patients' wounds, it's a vital but time-consuming task. WISDOM aims to lighten the load with a game-changing approach.

The WISDOM project introduces an innovative artificial intelligence component integrated into the Isla platform. This AI component takes the lead by swiftly analysing all the photos, promptly identifying those with issues that require a clinician's expert review.

The AI doesn't replace clinicians; instead, it enhances their workflow, ensuring that critical cases get immediate attention. Clinicians will continue to review all photos and information, but with the AI's support, they can prioritise their workload more efficiently.
